Description:Since I was old enough to hold a crayon, I have been involved in some type of art. I have found that creating is as necessary to me as breathing. Being a lifelong resident of Oregon, I have always been surrounded by inspiration. I am guided by my love of color, the arts, nature and faith in my emotional instinct to produce unique glass art.
I adore working with tempered glass. It lends wonderful depth and a crystalline look to my art. Pairing stained glass with tempered is a beautiful combination that has become a unique aspect to my style. I also enjoy working with a wonderful Italian glass called millefiori, which adds a bit of whimsy to each piece I do.
I was honored to work with other mosaic artists on the Steve Irwin Memorial Mural, located at the Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland. Over a thousand artists participated.
My work was also chosen for an international collaboration at the Mosaic Institute in Montpellier, France, called "Concert d'eclats" (Shards Concert, Matter of Dreams) which was unveiled in September 2008.
I was guest artist in April, 2009 at Gallery Briseno.
I participated in Toledo, Oregon's annual ART WALK at Gallery Briseno in September 2009.
Currently, my work can be seen at Skybound Gallery, Toledo, Oregon,
and SunRose Gallery, Seaside, Oregon.
